Avoid unnecessary words, and do not use colloquial language or contractions like 'don't' or 'won't'.
Before submitting, check that all sections are present and in the correct order. Review calculations for accuracy and ensure all data is presented correctly. Read your report aloud or have a peer review it to catch unclear passages. Check formatting—consistent font, proper spacing, aligned figures, and correct numbering. Verify that every table and figure has a caption and is referenced in the text. A final review for spelling, grammar, and punctuation completes the job.
