Clearview AI, the controversial facial recognition company used by law enforcement, is developing a new tool called InquiryIQ. The prototype is designed to work alongside Clearview's existing services to dig deeper into suspects' online lives.

The tool uses an AI model from xAI, the company that created Grok, to surface additional information about people once they have been identified through Clearview. According to reporting, InquiryIQ can locate associates, social media accounts, and other details that police might use during investigations.
