Overview

The Principia is an independent, co-educational institution founded in 1898 that offers education from preschool through college, all based on Christian Science principles. The institution comprises two main divisions: a school serving preschool through grade 12, and a liberal arts college. The Principia describes itself as providing 'world-class, Christian Science-based educational opportunities' and emphasizes developing students' leadership, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.

Programs & Offerings

The Principia College offers a liberal arts education and states that 'Principia College students break down barriers and acquire real-world, future-ready skills.' The school division (preschool through grade 12) includes academics, athletics, and boarding options. The homepage mentions a 'STEM Lab' as part of student activities. However, the scraped homepage does not provide detailed information about specific engineering or technical degree programs offered at the college level. For comprehensive information about available majors and concentrations, prospective students should visit the college academics section of the official website.

How to Join

Prospective students can request information through the official website or contact the admissions office. The homepage indicates there are both School and College admissions processes, with options to visit campus. For current admission requirements, application deadlines, required test scores, and specific application procedures, students should visit the official admissions pages for either the School or College division, or contact the institution directly at 314.434.2100.

Scholarships & Financial Aid

The homepage emphasizes that 'Contributions from the Principia family make these world-class, Christian Science-based educational opportunities possible' but does not provide specific information about scholarship offerings, financial aid programs, or funding amounts. Prospective students should contact the admissions office or visit the financial aid section of the official website for details on current scholarships and financial assistance options.

Careers & Jobs

The homepage lists 'Careers at Principia' as a link, suggesting employment opportunities at the institution itself, but does not provide information about career services, alumni career support, or graduate employment outcomes. Students interested in learning about career preparation services or alumni career networks should contact the institution directly or visit the college student life and alumni sections of the official website.

Tuition fees, deadlines and exact admission requirements change often - always confirm current details on the university's official website before applying.
